About Lindsey Vonn Foundation Scholarships
The Lindsey Vonn Foundation provides girls from underserved communities the tools they need to pursue their passion, overcome obstacles, and reach their goals through scholarships, programs, and mentorship. A scholarship from the Foundation is a financial aid option for academic, athletic, and enrichment activities.
Our current general scholarship period runs from January 1, 2025 to March 31, 2025 at 5:00 P.M. EST.

Enrichment Scholarships
Enrichment Scholarships are a financial aid option to allow the next generation of girls to pursue their passion in academic and enrichment activities to reach their goals. Applicants must be financially in-need based on the Federal Poverty Line. Must be 10 to 18 years of age at the time of application. Scholarship limit amount: $5,000.
Sport Scholarships
Sport Scholarships are a financial aid option to allow female athletes to improve their technique, build confidence, and reach their goals. Applicants must be financially in-need based on the Federal Poverty Line. Must be 10 to 18 years of age at the time of application. Scholarship limit amount: $5,000.
You may apply for only one scholarship per round, either a Sport Scholarship OR an Enrichment Scholarship.

Eligibility Requirements

Gender: As of January 1, 2023 our scholarships are for girls only.

Age: 10 to 18 years of age at the time of application

Location: National (U.S.)

Financial need based on household income, number of dependents, and location/cost of living

Students can receive only one scholarship per year, but can receive three scholarships in total during their period of eligibility
Scholarships will be awarded twice each year in the Spring and Fall for both the Lindsey Vonn Foundation Enrichment and Sport Scholarships. In order to apply for a scholarship applicants must follow the application eligibility and guidelines. All applicants must fill out the online application on the Foundation's website. Effective Summer 2024, all complete applications must contain both written and video essay components. After initial application review, the Scholarship Selection Committee may contact you for a phone or video chat panel interview.

Scholarship Guidelines and Payment

Scholarship must be used for ONLY ONE program payable to an organization through CHECK ONLY

Scholarship may NOT go towards college tuition, books, travel costs, equipment, reimbursement or other related expenses

Scholarship must be used within six months of acceptance date or funds expire

Scholarship award winners must fill out a LVF Summary of Conclusion after completing their activity
